Export columns

Exports turn a form's responses into spreadsheet rows. Every way to export uses the same columns.

Three ways to export

  • POST /v1/submissions/export gives rows as JSON, one page at a time.
  • POST /v1/submissions/export.csv gives the whole CSV file in one answer, up to 15 MB.
  • POST /v1/exports prepares a CSV file of any size in the background.

All three take the same filters and sort as GET /v1/submissions. With no filters, they export every response of the form. The CSV file is UTF-8 with a byte order mark and CRLF lines.

Columns

The columns come in this order.

  • id, createdAt, updatedAt, status, leftAt, completedAt, ending, countsAsLead, version and phoneVerified. Times are ISO 8601 in UTC. status reads Started, Left or Finished, ending is the ending's name, and countsAsLead reads Yes or No.
  • One column per question, in form order, keyed answers.<answer key> and headed by the question's current label. Questions removed in later versions keep their last label. Answers to questions in no known version are headed by their key. They come after the other answer columns in JSON pages and in the one-call CSV, and at the very end of a background export.
  • attribution.* columns for the UTM parameters, landing page, referrer, ad click IDs, Jornaya LeadiD and Meta event ID.
  • earlierSubmissionId, emailCheck, trustedFormCertUrl and telegramCheck. emailCheck reads Valid, Invalid, Disposable, Accepts any address, Unknown or Not checked. telegramCheck reads Personal account, Not found on Telegram, Channel, Group, Bot or Not checked. Each is blank when the response has nothing checked or no certificate.
  • consent, consentAt and consentText. consent reads Agreed, Not agreed or Not asked. The time and wording are blank unless agreed. See Consent.
  • Last, a country column for each address question, keyed answers.<answer key>.country and headed by the question and "(country)". It holds an ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code.

Values

Names split into .first and .last columns. Addresses split into .line1, .line2, .city, .state and .zip, where .state is the region and .zip the postal code. Picked options show their labels, with several joined by "; ". Phones are in E.164 format and dates are YYYY-MM-DD.

Files are permanent links into the app, one per line, that ask for sign-in. See Files.

Merging pages

Merge JSON pages by column key. A later page can add columns for answers to questions in older versions.

To download a file over the API, take the file id from the end of its link and call GET /v1/files/{fileId}.
