Plan history and retention

Responses are kept forever. A plan shows a number of days of them, and older ones are hidden until a plan shows them again.

How much history a plan shows

retentionDays in GET /v1/workspaces/{workspaceId}/entitlements is how many days of responses the workspace's plan shows.

Responses older than that are left out everywhere. That means lists, exports, single reads and webhook delivery logs, since a delivery carries a response. They're kept, not deleted, and they come back on a plan that shows them.

Knowing that older responses exist

olderHidden is true on an empty first page of GET /v1/submissions when the form, brand or workspace has responses older than the plan shows. Use it to say why a list is empty.

GET /v1/submissions/{submissionId} answers 404 for a hidden response.

Deleting hidden responses

DELETE /v1/submissions/{submissionId} works on hidden responses too, so an erasure request can always be honoured.
